Whenever you experience tough times you will almost always search for answers. And even in good times, although it will be other questions, chances are that you will at some or other stage search for answers. And when you do get an answer, you will remember it as a very special moment or a very real experience in your life. Those special moments are truly God given and are made to share. Be frank with yourself, you just love to share those special moments or real experiences with special people in your life. Then why not share it with the world! Your special moment or real experience could be a shining light in this world.

Other people are searching for answers! Your special moments or real experiences might just be the light that God wants to give them. Share your special moments and real experiences! Leave a shining light for others!

We always hear about the life stories of famous people in our history books. However, there are people who are not famous, but do have an awesome real life with God. We would like to hear your real life story.

There are many people who ask questions about God. Some doubt the existence of God. Others find it difficult to associate love with God. Others just do not know anything about God. Tell your real life story and share the real existence and real love of God!

My co-fellows and I are somehow entering the final quarter of work in our placement sites. Our predecessors all warned us that the year would fly by, and sure enough, it's nearly vanished before our eyes. Having completed seven months of the fellowship, we now have a unique view of our past, present, and future. We can see where we've come from, we can browse through folders of completed projects, and we remember achievements we've made, mistakes we've learned from, challenges we've overcome. We look around us and see friends, trusted colleagues, significant relationships we've built and a community in which we've become rooted. Many of us have adapted to new professional roles, organizations, even cultures, and have explored a new corner of the world and found in it a home.At this point, we also look ahead to our next steps. Geographically, professionally, where will we be in the last months of 2014? What are our long-term goals and what immediate moves should we make to propel us toward them? Despite the satisfaction we may find in what we've accomplished so far, or the nervous excitement around making our next moves, we still focus on staying present.
Heart Health Date: May 31st @ 5:42am EDT
Heart disease ranks among of the most common health problems in America today. It is also one of the deadliest diseases. More people die every year from heart disease than from any other cause, including cancer.

It is common knowledge that heart disease is largely lifestyle-related, caused by poor nutrition, lack of exercise, stress and sleep deprivation. Many, if not most, of the contributing factors to heart disease are under our control and can be changed.
SMALL CHANGES CAN MAKE BIG DIFFERENCES Date: May 31st @ 5:40am EDT
We have all seen the articles about how many calories are in your latte and cappuccino, but have you ever considered what your getting from the coffee that you brew at home? I have had a not so good habit of drinking 2 cups of coffee when I brew a pot in the morning, and I like my coffee with 2 spoons of sugar. That doesn't seem like a lot, until I look at how much sugar that adds up to. By my calculations, I am getting about 1100 empty calories each week. Yikes, not good! It is about the same as drinking a regular 12 oz. soda each day. So, I have switched to green tea since I enjoy that without any sweetener. I will still enjoy the occasional cup of coffee, but it will be a treat instead of a daily requirement.

We are in the final week of school here in Austin, so there are lots of activities keeping me busy. On the menu this week we had: Chicken Nuggets with sauteed zucchini, Sausage, corn on the cob and salad, Swiss Chard Quiche, Slow cooker pinto beans and roasted vegetables.

For those who desire a more health-focused blog, this is a great resource. Bloggers Jack and Jeanine share mouthwatering, "veggie-centric" foods (though neither of them avoid meats entirely). Their recipes are fresh and colorful, and make healthy eating inspiring. Their salads are wonderful.

There are countless other worthy blogs I could mention. Those with a passion for baking must visit Joy the Baker's blog. But at some point, we must stop looking at the pictures and recipes, stop saying, "I wish I could make something like that," and pull out the flour and spices. Many of these food bloggers are not professional cooks. Many are mothers, writers, and food-lovers who simply decided to try something new. This is, perhaps, the reason they can inspire us most.

essential resource for the inquisitive cook. He has written six cooking books, and blogs from Paris, often sharing insights into its restaurants, cooking, and atmosphere. This whole wheat croissant recipe is on my to-make list for the month--and you have to try his shakshuka.

Her recipes take Tennessee cooking--with all its lard and okra--and gives it a modern twist. Some of my favorite recipes include her hand pies (muscadine rose and blueberry, basil, and goat cheese) and sweet potato gnocchi.

Vallerand's "dualistic model of passion" distinguishes between harmonious and obsessive passions. In the former, our love for an activity remains within our control and integrates easily with the rest of our lives. In the latter, the activity becomes an all-consuming interest that interferes with our pursuit of other goals or interests. Vallerand has shown through an impressive number of studies that these two types of passion are not created equal.

People with harmonious passions, for example, report higher levels of well-being than those without, but people with obsessive passions do not. In a more extreme contrast, dancers with an obsessive passion for their sport report greater suffering from chronic injuries and are more likely to say that pride keeps them from taking sufficient care when they are hurt. Harmoniously passionate dancers, on the other hand, suffer less from acute injuries and do more to keep themselves from getting hurt in the first place.

If passion is one of grit's active ingredients, then, it is important to note that not just any passion will do. Combining an obsessive focus with an unwillingness to give up might well be the perfect recipe for what some scholars call an escalation of commitment to a failing course of action.
Passion, Perseverance and Our Expanding Definition of Success Date: Mar 18th @ 12:22pm EDT
Naturally, then, our appetite for grit has already turned to the question of how to get more of it, both for ourselves . But what if there is more to the story of Fred and Steve? What if both boys turned out to be successful, but in different ways? In other words, what if focused Fred went on to become Frédéric Chopin, one of history\'s greatest pianists, and scattered Steve grew into Stevie Wonder, one of the most popular musicians of the past half-century?

Surely there are many similarities between Chopin and Wonder. Both were prodigies with immense talent who devoted their lives to music. Both might well get high scores on the grit scale. Yet this subtle distinction in the framing of their careers highlights how hard it can be to know what success means for any individual person, let alone how they can best pursue it.

It is not hard to imagine a parent or teacher who has read about grit confusing Wonder\'s musical curiosity for distraction and a lack of self-control. If you were Stevie Wonder's parents, how would you decide whether to let him follow his curiosity within the broad confines of music or to nudge him to pick a particular instrument to focus on? What if your interests are broader even than music or any one domain? And what of your own professional interests -- are they specific and fine-grained, or somewhat focused with at least a bit of fuzziness?
